The new and expanding field of psychology is calling for a new breed of counselor and psychologists are taking advantage of this. The after school counselor job description has grown so much over the past decade that it has become a widely-used job description for any individual or group that seeks to help kids or teenagers.
There are a number of types of after school counselor and psychologists, each with different skill sets, personality types, and goals.
